This Thought Counts

It has been awhile since I posted to This Thought Counts, but since I took time this week to transfer it from webpress to blogger, it re-energized me to update. So, where am I? Well, not quite where I want to be, but I am getting there. (Hmm, not quite the right vibration to be on. Let me change that - I am exactly where I want to be!) This year, I self-published my novel L'Amore Perfetto , a romance/modern-day fairytale, in eFormat. I am currently working to get it into print as well. My goal is to have it available in print by the end of November for Xmas sales, crossing my fingers on that one. I also launched a whole bunch of eBooks under a completely different genre under a pseudonym. And no, I am not ready to reveal that yet. Right now, I am working on a Young Adult story that has been humming in my brain for over a year. I hope I can do it justice. My goals for the next year? OK - for those of you not in the know, I am sure that subject was quite bizarre. But -I am excited to announce that my new revised copy of Clean Your Home . . . without all those nasty chemicals is called Green Cleaning and it is now available! Although I loved the fact that I got Clean Your Home to print, and was very proud of what was inside it, I always felt somewhat bothered by how it looked. That is now gone! Not only does it look professional - and I am very excited about it, it also includes some changes to the former information, plus some new additions. The last couple days have been crazy! On Tuesday, PA asked me to see my full manuscript. They let me know it would take a couple weeks to review it. On Thursday, 2 days after I submitted my manuscript, I got my acceptance letter. WOO HOO! I can hardly believe it. Well, actually I can believe it - LOL. I am taking this weekend to go over the contract and make notes. On Monday I hope to have a paralegal go over it for me and explain the legalese. Once the contract is signed, the book goes into publication! I am so excited. Once that starts, I am going to start my marketing plan. There are a lot of resources on marketing your book, and I want to work hand-in-hand with my publisher to make this a best seller. The Universe truly has no time constraints - it can make things happen quickly when you are on the right frequency - and I am working on staying on that frequency, though it doesn't feel like work.
