Who's Reality are you Buying Into?

Image
Before we are aware that we are the masters of our own universe and that we control our own vibration, we are but a leaf in a storm, being flicked about at its whim. Without the strength to find out own way, we are ripped from our  branch and sent out into the world without anything to hold onto except for the fact we have no control. In some ways, I think people cling to that concept - after all, it is easier to blame others than to recognize that you are at fault for what comes to you. The opposite is in fact true - when you recognize just how much of what happens to or comes to you is from you, it gives you a better bargaining chip. Because if something comes your way you don't want, you change the vibration you put out so you get a different response instead. However, that doesn't mean we don't have knee-jerk reactions. Right now, there are tons of those going on in Washington DC. I keep away from the news because quite frankly, it's sole purpose is to drag...

The Third Eye Awakes - Day 28 of #40days of meditation

Ajna or the Third-Eye Chakra has opened Last night as I was meditating before I went to sleep, a strange feeling came in the middle of my forehead. It kind of tingled, kind of itched. And I knew exactly what it was as I had felt it once before but rejected it at the time as annoying. When I realized later on what it was, I could have kicked myself. I've been doing a lot of chakra opening work as my grounding exercises when I prepare to speak to my angels - it's also a wonderfully calming meditation. But as I felt these feelings I felt such warmth, knowing that once again my 3rd eye is open. It's a wonderful feeling as one of the things I've been asking for is to get in better touch with my intuition and guess what the Third-eye is for? Ajna is involved with wisdom, intellect, clairvoyance, acting on ideas, insight, understanding, intuitive reasoning - can you see why this is amazing? When the third-eye is out of alignment, it can cause headaches, eyestrain,...

Day 20 of #40days of meditation and all sorts of surprises

Day 20 of my 40 days of meditation and I've had a few mind blowing moments over the last couple days. davidji said that the thing about meditation is that it quiets your mind and lets you receive inspiration easier when you are not in a meditative state. I can attest to that. I'll also say that I had a tussle with myself on whether or not to write this post. The experiences I've had over the last few days have been intense and affirming. But then doubt came in. "Will they think I'm gloating if I write down what happened?" "Will they tsk and tell me it couldn't have happened?" And then I realized I was letting doubt and fear cloud the amazing things that happened. So, here is a small look into the last few days. 1: A little over a week ago, I saw a few free videos from Dr. Wayne Dyer. In one of them he talked about how we are, at our core, light. Now, I have been widdling down my affirmations to one that I use if I get emotionally out of s...

You're human. Give yourself a break

As humans, we expect perfection from ourselves. In my last post I talked about breaking away from stuff that is meant to feel good when it feels bad. Today, I'm just going to simply tell you: You're human. You are going to have bad moments every once in awhile. It's going to happen. Don't beat yourself up about it. Recognize your feelings, appreciate them for what they are, and when you are able to - find your belief and travel upward again. At the beginning, one bad thought isn't going to hurt you. If you persist in negative thoughts, then you are fighting against the wind, but I think it more likely that you may expect yourself to do it perfectly the first time. And you may find that you did. The first thing you worked for came through quickly and effortlessly just like you read about. But the second? Is a struggle. And you begin to doubt. Overall, if you continue to doubt and don't replace it with belief and the right thoughts, it will derail you, b...

Your thought is just one quantum possibility

I've been thinking about my spideys. One came to me the other night after almost two months of no spidey'ness. He was bringing a message and it took some reading, and I quickly understood it,  but this isn't what this post is about. As I mentioned the first time I had a 'reality jump', I'd always believed that different realities existed simultaneously, but seeing it happen in front of my very eyes was a definite "Woah" moment. As this latest of spideys came to call and I realized what he was here to tell me, I had some time to consider him and had a bit of an epiphany as I thought about him and about the spider that had disappeared and reappeared clear across the room in the blinking of an eye. The movie "What The Bleep Do We Know?" was the first metaphysical movie I saw, oh, maybe 7 or 8 years ago. One of the things they kept mentioning was all the 'quantum possibilities' around us. While logically I thought I understood, now ...

That which you desire to be

When one starts on the road to their fulfillment by spiritual and mental changes, it is a strange and unique journey. I have been through several 'teachers'. I didn't leave their 'teachings' because I disagreed with them. In fact, I am thankful for those teachers and what they taught me. But any good teacher will tell you that what they teach is only there to help you move on to greater learning. Currently I am working with The Law as taught by Neville Goddard (albeit I do it without most of the jesus/god references). His teaching that nothing is without, but everything is within makes sense to me. That our entire outer picture is created by what we think, what we focus on, and what we believe. I am grateful for all the teachers who I had before that prepared me for this journey. In fact, I am in agreeance with the phrase "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Neville taught this great Law starting in the late 1930s. And yet, I only fo...
