I've spent most of my life thinking the universe wasn't speaking to me. It's only been in the last few years that I realized it wasn't that it wasn't speaking to me. It was that I didn't know how to listen. The universe, God, all that is'ness, whatever you want to call it, doesn't always communicate like we expect it to. I was raised in a conservative Christian religion where I was told that god would answer me when I prayed. And they always shared stories that those answers came in words. *buzzer* The fact is, the universe communicates in many ways, but those words I was expecting in my head? That isn't how the universe communicates. At least not to me. When I hear that, it's my angels and guides talking to me. And the universe is such a wonderful, giving wonder, that if you don't ask, it won't answer. And that includes your angels & guides. They don't interfere or answer unless we specifically ask. Have you ever wondered just how the universe communicates? Sure, sometimes we'll receive information in whatever language we speak, but 99.99 times out of 100, the universe communicates with us through symbols. Which makes sense if you think about it. The language we speak is particular to this planet and whatever family/country we were born into. The universe doesn't communicate like that. It's an entirely different form of language. It was one we knew before we came here and one we will once again understand when we move on from Earth, but for now - we have to relearn it. NEW Language arts in our world are mostly words, phrases, and in a few cases symbols. But the universe almost exclusively communicates in symbols, pictures, and coincidences. Hey, all :) How's your 2015 going? Hopefully swimmingly. So, let me tell you what that title means. I'm sure everyone has heard how 'easy' it is to get things to work for you. Easy is all relative. If you are a naturally positive person, I could see it as being much easier than if you're not. Plus, easy to whom? People who have been doing it for years and who have gained the majority of what they truly wanted? In hindsight things look easier, don't they? But that doesn't mean they have to be hard. In fact, they could be a piece of cake. What do I mean? Have you tried getting the little things? Or, even having the little things come through without trying? For me, they are a wonderful, happy reminder of how this universe works. I don't try anymore to see if they work, they just do. Last Friday, I was on my way home from the gym and I thought, "Oh, I'd like a piece of cake." I even knew exactly what bakery it would be from and how it ...

Time is a human construct. It doesn’t actually exist. As a human that is one of the hardest things to grasp. We learned linear time from the time we were children. We know there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and so forth. And yet…time doesn’t actually exist. We made it up. We believe in it, so in a way it exists for as long as we believe it is true, it will appear to be so. But when we step out of time, refusing it to run out lives, and realize the universe does not work in a timely manner because there is no time ‘out there’, it opens up a whole new avenue of possibilities. For instance, there is no waiting. Since time does not exist, if we ask for something, the universe could give it to us literally within moments of asking. (I’ve had this happen before.) Of course, that always is the worst part when you have to wait for something to come to pass. But it isn’t that the universe needs the ‘time’ to prepare your goal. More than likely, the...

Today’s extra is all about the “how”. So, you have a dream, a goal, and you’ve read and studied from several gurus and you know you are on the right path. You have visualized the attained goal and you're there enjoying it. But then, your mind whispers, “how’s it gonna happen?” You don’t mean to think about it, but you can’t quite help it. You imagine how that goal may be achieved. And that isn’t a bad thing. If you do it once. The problem is, once you start to concentrate on the how, you not only can’t NOT concentrate on it, you began to fill in the details until you’ve mapped out the how in your head. Bad move. By mapping out the how, by concentrating on it, you have just taken from the universe its plan. You’ve taken control – whether or not you intended to – and have basically said “This is how I see it happening”. Which has ground everything to a halt. Now, it may happen like that, or it may not. Florence Scovel Shinn has an interesting take on the phrase ‘Cast your burden’. If you have done any study of the bible, you have heard this phrase. “Cast your burden on the lord so that it may be light”. What does that mean? Well, it essentially means we are not meant to do this on our own. We are such independent creatures sometimes, or we’ve been taught not to ask, that we don’t even think that our burdens are not ours to bear. Nope. Not one. If you take as a premise that ‘god’ or ‘christ’ is internal. That the great I AM is actually our own human imagination. Or that we are all tied together with only 5% of our spirit residing in these frail human bodies and the other 95% residing elsewhere amongst the 95%s from everywhere else, this is the premise: We’re all in this together. On the one hand, we are told over and over again that we are here to be happy and that we should gain that which we want. I would say that for 99% of us, we are focusing on the 'object' we want, when in fact, it is the emotion behind said object that we are truly wanting. Intuition You can find Part I here . I've always doubted my intuition because I would follow something I thought was right and it would crash and burn. Looking back, I understand why - because I would follow the intuition and then would spend my time panicking thinking "what will I do if [insert chosen goal here] doesn't work out?" Yeah, concentrating on what you want NOT happening is definitely not the way to receive it. So I am learning. And one of the things I am learning most? The Guru Quandary Teachers are just teachers. They can only tell you how something works for them. That does not mean it will work for you. They tell us that I-AM, aka Divine Mind, aka the universe, aka God, is a non-thinking, perfectly reactive part of our mind - our human imagination. They tell us that what we wish for is already on our path. They also tell us that Divine Mind has no judgment. Given that, then why do bad things happen instantly and good things take time? Well, the first reason might be that we have been in a negative frame of mind for a long time so Divine Mind is used to the negative state and reacts easily to it. The second reason might be that negative emotion is stronger than positive emotion? I can cross out both of those immediately for me. The first might have been true awhile ago, but I've spent years on myself and am positive, happy, and life-affirming. And I do not believe that negative emotion is stronger than positive emotion....

Ah, what a wonderful day - the sun is shining and I feel great! Got asked about doing a TV spot yesterday for my book Green Cleaning: Save Your Money, Save Your Health, Save The Earth . (That's https://www.createspace.com/3374986 for those who only see text not html) Its exciting what the Universe can do, once you get your sub-consious in gear! I have started following John Kremer on Twitter - He does alot with Book Marketing - very interested to hear what he has to say. Need a boost in my exercise routine, so I have my first workout with a new trainer today. Lets hope I am sore tomorrow!
